This paper describes the study of the wireless communication characteristics between AirGate-Modbus and RHT-Air equipment over long distances, and contains the test data using different types of antennas, in different environments. Regardless of the antenna type, it was concluded that both devices operated successfully during all tests.

The new AirGate-Modbus firmware version allows you to create different wireless network topologies. When upgrading the AirGate-Modbus via its USB interface, using the DigiConfig configuration software, devices that are configured as RS485-Slaves will automatically adapt to the needs of the network.
